Treasure hunt and 9 months and counting

Last night, putting my 4 year old to bed, we began to read a new story I had seen featured in several bookstores.  So, without reading it before, I purchased it through the school’s scholastic book program.  The book – Russell and the Lost Treasure by Rob Scotton.   To summarize it, Russell the sheep is in search of the Lost Treasure of Frogsbottom. The treasure he finds is not quite what he expects, but it’s priceless nonetheless.  The treasure – an old camera and pictures of family and friends.  A treasure indeed!  I had to laugh – off all books to pick – how ironic! 🙂  As I do think of what treasure is to me – it definitely is all of my images of family and friends that I have been fortunate enough to capture.  So don’t wait to lose weight, grow your hair – whatever your hangup is!  Get out there and have a family portrait because I can guarantee you, it will be your “treasure” as well!

And..for the 9 months in the subject – I have photographed this little one his whole life!  All 9 months of it 🙂

Here he is at our latest shoot loving the sunshine and a perfect little model!
